Me and Rob finally got out on the bikes at the weekend which was nice. We head to the Coed Llandegla Forest. This was only my second time here and there has been a number of photos and videos of the new sections that have been built, so we were looking forward to trying them out.

We did the usual Red/Black runs and then decided to get the cameras out and start playing. Rob has some cheap and cheerful flash triggers, so that was going to be the order of the day.

Rob is posing for me here as i tried to set the lights up in the correct position and on the right power for the jump he is stood on.

Singlespeed training bike

I have built up a single speed training bike out of a few bits and pieces I had in the workshop. Definately cheaper when you are doing a high milage. For those interested it Has a 49t Surley Chain ring and chain tensioner, 8 speed chain, on*one 16t rear cog, hope spacers on a standard free hub body. Crank is an old square taper 105, brakes and hubs also 105 from the same era. Frame is a GT attack road frame with carbon fork. one inch stearer and areo quil stem. Flat bars are off my old stumpjumper hardtail
